Director of Philanthropy

The YMCA of Hamilton | Burlington | Brantford is seeking a Director of Philanthropy to help advance its major gifts and campaign fundraising efforts during an important period of growth and evolution. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Philanthropy, this leadership role will oversee the major gifts function while personally managing a portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished relationship-based fundraiser with demonstrated success cultivating, soliciting, closing, and stewarding major gifts. They will bring strong donor engagement skills, sound fundraising judgment, and the ability to build trusted relationships with donors, volunteers, senior leaders, and community stakeholders.
